EXPO IN CHINA

Today is 21st ,October. 9days later,the Closing Ceremony of  the 2010 EXPO will  be held in Shanghai. Maybe for most of people outside Asian , they don't know there is an EXPO in China .The Shanghai World Fair makes it theme that"Better city Better life"， which manifests three features: modernity， originality and universality.For myself , it's a good chance to learn different culture ,but most importang is that I can learn quite a lot of architecture style and broden my horizon.
But I still have to say,quite a lot people to visit ,I had to spent several even 1 day to queue .


Now , I want to show some photos about the building I'm interested in.

Aha ,I'm before India House. it looks like a flower. Look at the roof! beautiful ~

this is China Hall. I think it's very adventural to use red beams. But it seems quite special.

that is UK Pavilion .like dandelions.Acutally it's my favorite one . when the sunset.,it looks like a star .

this is about French ,full up with romantic and  luxury feeling.

Canada. The shape is come from maple leaves.

this is Italian Hall. It bases on geometry theme.

Quite  a lot of interesting building I can't upload because of my bad internet speed. If you want to see more you can search in internet, and you will find  something touch your heart string .

Architecture is a process of seeing ,learning  and doing . I don't know if I'm suitable for this subject, but I'll try my best to see to learn to know.

it's called the Crescent House

Last week,I finished my second group project----Analysis of Prescent
Quite a long long long Friday ...%>_<%

Actually,It was the first time I worked with two British guys Sam and Micheal.We spent a lot of hard but happy time together. Micheal was always hurt by his knife,while I always cut my fingers by the cardboards.! oh, crazy !Carboards can kill a person ,that's true! O(∩_∩)OAfter  finished the models,I found some wound in my hands.I supposed, my classmates might have some wound  more or less.

The Crescent House is a novel  house .It consists of two main crescent .I think it 's a challenge to make crescent model .I caculated a lot of data ,and selected which material was suitable to make it .At first ,I wanted to make some furniture in it including sofa and chairs.Because of  limited time ,I just made curboard and bookshelf....What a pitty!

But  I still think our models are really cool and our presentation ranked the 1st among 12gorups .For myself, it is a important time to improve my drawing skills, model-making skills , as well as my poor Enligh! Anyway ,I'll step it up and nail it !
